Pupil of Domenico Morelli, he exhibited all over Europe: Naples, Rome, Florence, Milan, Turin, Venice, Paris, Munich, London.
In 1916 he founded in Florence the International Academy of Painting and Graving. In the same year he was given the silver medal of the Belle Arti Society of Florence.
He died in Florence in 1952.
